HISTORY

ASAHI COMPANY LTD., with its humble beginning, has thrived through the 80’s and 90’s to become a diversified group of companies in Japan as well as in Sri Lanka, Botswana, Uganda and Philippines.

1988
Our founder AHAMED MOHAMED MOHAMED NUHUMAN started a small business of vehicle (Buy and sell) The Asahi Company Ltd. began to expand and engaged to motor vehicle business around the globe through the hard work of his brother AHAMED MOHAMED MOHAMED HUSSAIN.
1998
The company started to have its branches outside Japan, particularly in Sri Lanka as “Ganga Traders” *, afterwards was “Fuji Lanka Private Ltd”and then, ventured to a new business named “Fuji Corporation” which eventually became one of the biggest importers of used motor vehicle spare parts in Sri Lanka.
2001
Started Car sales in Bootswana named ZAWEEKA.
2006
Entered to Philippine Market with the registered company name ASAHI GROUP INT’L CORP, one of the biggest used car locator inside Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
2011
Entered Truck Trading Business that become more progressive and became the no. 1 imported of many kind of used vehicles and trucks inside SBMA (Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority)
2019
Engaged into truck body manufacturing and named.
